Based in California, the North American Bartending Association (NABA) is a professional organization that represents bartenders in the United States. The NABA is one of the largest bartender associations worldwide.

The mission of the NABA is to advance the creation, communication and application of bartending knowledge to benefit society and improve people’s lives and bar experience.

Organizational Purposes
The objects of the North American Bartending Association shall be to advance bartending as a practice and profession by:
Promotion
1 The encouragement of bartending along with the promotion of research in bartending and the improvement of bartending methods.
Improvement
2 The improvement of the qualifications and usefulness of bartenders through high standards of ethics, conduct, education, and achievement.
Ethics
3 The establishment and maintenance of the highest standards of professional ethics and conduct of the members of the Association.
Knowledge
4 The increase of bartending knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions, and publications.
